Atlantic Watch SA is considered to be the pioneer in the sphere of
water-resistant timepieces. Atlantic chose Flavio Marazzi, the world
sailing champion in the 5.5-m class and European champion in the Star
class, as the brand's ambassador and invited the champion to become a
co-designer of a watch for sailing enthusiasts.
The Flavio Marazzi watch has been created in two versions: Seashark
Blueflag and Seashark Blackrace. The timepiece houses a Swiss-made ETA
quartz chronograph movement. The crown, the signed case-back, and the
pushers are screwed to guarantee 300-meter water-resistance. The case
construction is completed with scratch-resistant, antireflection-coated
sapphire crystal.
The Atlantic watch goes on a rugged anchor-pattern stainless steel bracelet fitted with a double safety clasp.
Shown here are two great choices you have as a base for your custom watch order.
Pierre Dubois, founder of the Pierre Deroche watch brand and a
former sports teacher, has proudly marked the year 2008 by the launch
of a new remarkable timepiece bearing strong relation to the world of
sports - the GrandCliff Countdown - a must-have for anyone who pursues time.
The timepiece was unveiled at Baselworld 2008, in the same
city where the Euro 2008 started on June 7th. No doubt, Pierre Dubois
is an avid fan of two captivating worlds - watchmaking and football.
The Pierre Deroche GrandCliff Countdown watch has incorporated the rotating countdown bezel. The 29th Olympic Games will
start on August 8th, so connoisseurs of competitive sailing and fine
timekeeping, awaiting the starting gun, will be able to line up the
bezel with number 10, while others will be thrilled by the opportunity
to countdown a 3-minute boxing round. No matter whether you are
passionate about football or simply enjoy molecular cuisine, you will
surely appreciate the watch's stylish functionality.
Boasting a distinctive sporty design, Pierre Deroche wanted the GrandCliff Countdown to provide utmost usefulness. The countdown function of the watch
is adjustable to all kinds of sports events. The timepiece may also
turn out to be really useful in everyday life. In one word, it is
destined to appeal to a wide audience.
The following are the functions encompassed by the Pierre Deroche GrandCliff Countdown watch:
hours, minutes, seconds, medium,
date, day/night indicator,
chronograph with flyback and countdown.
The watch is equipped with a self-winding movement, Dubois Depraz calibre, with a cut-out and engraved oscillating weight.
The polished and satin-brushed 316L stainless steel case
features 'double-sealed' push-buttons and a screw-locked crown, as well
as a glare-proofed sapphire crystal and case-back. The case
construction is 100-meter water-resistant.
The bold look of the Pierre Deroche GrandCliff Countdown is accentuated
by a crocodile leather or rubber strap fitted with a folding clasp in
316L steel.
It is possible to customize the
rotating bezel, and the dial (depending of the number of pieces of each
limited edition). To customize the bezel, we usually take into
consideration limited edition with a minimum of 10 pieces. To
customize the dial, we need a minimum of 25 pieces, the deadline for
manufacturing such a dial is unfortunately more than 6 month!
